I had so much fun interviewing Susan B. Anthony and surprise guest Elizabeth Cady Stanton on Saturday, November 6 in Los Angeles. Here is a picture of us at this one in a lifetime event.
I also had the chance to read from my novel Susie B. Won’t Back Down, which–I’m happy to say–is getting some very good reviews. School Library Journal gave it a starred review and wrote that Susie B. Won’t Back Down, “will join the ranks of other great realistic fiction books like Alesha Dixon’s Lightning Girl, and Holly Goldberg Sloan’s Counting by 7s. A must-have for any middle grade collection.” And Kirkus writes that “Susie is energetic, breathless, enthusiastic, and genuinely, charmingly funny.”
