Here is a great New York Times article about the rebranding of pit bulls. I love put bulls. Did you know they were once called nanny dogs because people used to think they were so good with kids? My middle grade novel (coming 2020 from Atheneum Books for Young Readers) is about a pit bull named Booler and I like to think it is a welcome part of the rebranding of the breed.
